The weather really smiled on us at camp this year. The words of the weekend were “water” and “sun-cream”. We had an amazing range of activities, to name but a few, archery, zorbing, a strong man competition and of course backwoods cooking which involved cooking over braziers in 32 degree heat. The biggest hit with the cubs was the selection of inflatables on the Sunday. This also allowed the leaders to strike camp! A huge thank you goes to my assistant leaders and to all the parents who helped not only to pitch camp but to strike and put it away too. Thanks also goes to the organisers and caterers who made everything go so smoothly, good job everyone! Also don’t forget Simon and William who put in such a huge amount of work all year to get everything sorted so that it runs so well.
