The 26th Cambridge Scout Troop is one of the most active in Britain today. The troop offers varied and interesting programmes on a weekly basis but also a large number of opportunities for camping for weekends, long weekends and long summer camps of two weeks, sometime three weeks when we go to Europe, as well as competitions and activities organised by Cambridge District Scout Council and Cambridgeshire County Scout Council.
Making new friends is one of the great pluses, many of our old members who today are in all sorts of jobs and professions, and who were from several different schools, are, still good friends and in regular contact. Scouting widens your horizons rivalled only by going to university. And even at university there are Scout and Guide Clubs to help you meet people across the various academic courses. Whilst scouting is designed to help you grow to become useful and caring members of society the route is packed with fun and excitement it is the coolest way to develop yourself into a really successful member of society. Come along and see for yourself. See also www.scoutbase.org.uk Scouts Fridays 7 - 9pm How to find us Come and find out for yourself. Make lifelong friends in Scouting Today You can ring the centre any Friday between 7pm and 9pm or just come along you must have your parents permission though to come and see for yourself so why not bring them with you?
