Welcome to the 26th Cambridge Scout Group!
The Scout Movement, which was founded in 1907, is a global co-educational youth organisation, the largest in the world, with over 28 million members in 216 countries and territories. In the UK, Scouting is organised through The Scout Association and has a clear purpose:
To actively engage and support young people on their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.
Established in 1928, the 26th Cambridge Scout Group is one of the oldest in the county. We have very active Cub, Scouts and Explorer sections, providing Scouting activities to over 40 young people in the Chesterton area of Cambridge. Our aim is to enable young people to achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens through the provision of exciting and adventurous activities with progressive training based on the Scout Promise and Law guided by adult leadership.
- Cubs meetings: 6.30pm – 8pm on Wednesday
