See what we are up to!
Patrols compete in series of outdoor themed challenges to be crowned the winner! Patrols need to hunt down Explorers who will be walking in town, disguised in various characters. An opportunity for Scouts to get their swimming badge at Jesus Green Lido. Families (of all sections in the 14th and 26th) are invited to our last meeting. Activities on offer: Patrols will design their flags, make stencils out of cardboard and transfer their design onto fabric using spray paint. Patrols will race against each other to complete a set of challenges in town to win points for their patrols! Scouts will begin their work on their chosen/allocated activity badge. They will spend a total of 3 nights on the same badge to fulfill the badge requirements. Some parts may have to be competed at home! Scouts will carry on with their badge work. They will spend a total of 3 nights on the same badge to fulfill the badge Scouts will finish their badge work this evening, working on their final project. Some parts may have to be completed at home! Essentially the same meeting as before, with the patrols swapped round: 2 patrols will enjoy a rotation of craft activities (e.g. candle making, paracord woggle/macrame (decorative knot making), knitting/crochet) whilst the other 2 patrols practise fire-lighting and some simple backwoods cooking behind the building.
